Chart View

Chart view is one of three possible views which can be used to display the results of a MAST report.
Charts are useful way of communicating number based information in a visual way. Charts display the measure as coloured graphics, often accompanied by an axis with numeric scale, divided according to the category in some way. Series are often shown as different colours in the chart legend.
MAST includes a huge choice of different chart types. The chart type can be changed at any time simply by clicking the Properties button and selecting a chart type from the dropdown list. Different chart types emphasise different aspects of the report result.
Chart view is a convenient way of viewing indexed reports, since column charts display index values as a series with each index value shown as a red bar superimposed on the relevant data point.
The contents of Chart view can be downloaded as a PNG file at any time by clicking the Download Chart Image link.
