Day of Week

The Day of Week Dimension is a MAST dimension which defines an approach to summarising data by chronology. It is based on the day of the week when each crash occurred according to STATS19 returns.
Day of Week arranged into two levels. The upper level distinguishes weekend days (Saturdays and Sundays) from the five days of the working week, while each individual day is represented at the lower level.
Day of Week does not represent precise dates. It also does not represent calendar years or months, but these can readily be included in any analysis by using the Crash Date Dimension.
