The Select Report page is the first page which users see when they log on to MAST Online.

A quick guide to the Select Reports page

The Select Report page displays a main heading (in blue), which indicate what the numbers in reports under that heading denote. For example, all reports under the Vehicles heading refer to numbers of vehicles and their related drivers, but not to crashes or casualties.

Under each main heading, a list of related reports is displayed. Each report has a thumbnail picture, a name and a description.

Lists on the Select Report page also display blank reports and public reports, as well as with any saved reports created by the active user.

How to use the the Select Report page

A single click on a report thumbnail opens the Edit Report page for that report.

  • To create a report based on a template, click the appropriate public report thumbnail. The template can be modified as required and the Save Report As link used to save it with a suitable name.
  • To create a new report from scratch, click the blank report thumbnail for the required data set. The Save Report As link should be used to save the new report with a suitable name.
  • To open an existing report for editing, printing and/or downloading, simply click on its thumbnail.
  • Each report also has several associated links for performing common actions with a report.
    • The Rename link allows users to edit report names and descriptions
    • The Delete link allows users to delete a report permanently (WARNING: There is no Undo feature, so deleted reports cannot be recovered)
